Kathryn is an illustrator, English teacher and artist living and working in Hokkaido, Japan.
She has cultivated a joy centred practice, focusing on playfulness, colour, and optimism. She embraces the goofy and silly things in life and loves to bring these ideas into her work. Her practice includes the mediums of digital illustration, traditional drawing, painting, risography and more.
She graduated with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Illustration from Camberwell, University of the Arts London in 2020. She now works as an English teacher in Japanese Senior High Schools, and is unfortunately no longer available for commercial illustrative work.
